About Me

Brittany Delay is a creative professional driven by a passion for informing, engaging, and entertaining audiences through innovative storytelling techniques. With a degree in Media Studies and a minor in Journalism from U.C. Berkeley, as well as a certification in Deliberative Democracy from Stanford, Brittany has built a versatile career that spans both traditional and cutting-edge media. From entertainment and lifestyle reporting for Mercury News to reviewing films for Looper, refining LLM models for pioneering startups such as Outlier, and serving as the Comedian Host of Galatea TV, Brittany has consistently embraced the plethora of modern mediums as powerful tools for connection, communication, and inspiration.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion are core values within Brittany's personal and professional journey. Growing up queer in an isolated Texas town, Brittany was introduced to the power of media representation at an early age, fostering a lifelong love for queer film, TV, and pop culture. Being able to access representations of characters she resonated with not only provided her with the vocabulary to name and understand her personal experience, but also the courage to embrace her identity. She has pursued this passion in her career through studying queer media at Berkeley, writing queer film reviews, interviewing queer celebrities, and performing queer comedy. As a whole, throughout her academic and professional career, she has remained committed to reaffirming the role of DEI within media. She strives to bring these values into her work and hopes to work with others who do the same.
